Timeline


This feature allows you to present the tasks to be performed in a clear manner.
The timeline is a new feature in version 10 of Cerri Project.  
In the standard navigation, it can be accessed under ‘My Workspace’.

The timeline display shows the assignments of users, not the tasks themsleves. If several people are assigned to a task, it appears multiple times but is personalized accordingly.

The projects are listed in the left-hand column.
In the filter area, you can filter by resources, projects, or both. You should use this option to ensure clarity when dealing with many projects.



  1. The ‘Today’ button focuses the timeline on the current week.
  2. You can use the slider to adjust the timeline so that either days, weeks or months are displayed.
  3. The ‘Fit to content’ icon positions the display so that all selected assignments are shown.

  4. Use the ‘Refresh’ button to reload the assignments.



The bars representing the assignments display the following information, which can also be viewed in detail by hovering over them:
  1. The assigned resource in abbreviated format 
  2. The name of the task (assignment)
  3. The planned and actual time
When you click on the bar, the assignment document opens, which you can then edit or use to obtain further information.



You can move freely in the timeline using the vertical and horizontal scrollbars.

Note: 
If a second tab is open (e.g., the Kanban, a chart, etc.), the timeline will not open. Please close this tab first.
