The Workload Chart is a color-coded diagram displaying a selected resource’s workload across all assigned projects, including all scheduled unavailabilities.
The Workload Chart is a great tool to identify a resource’s allocation across all projects and to determine whether they are over-allocated or have any scheduling conflicts.
By default, no resource is selected in the "Resource" dropdown list. Once a resource is selected, the chart displays their availability.
Note: This operation may take several seconds, depending on the amount of data being processed.
The Workload Chart displays the various elements for the selected resource:
Selected resource (1).
List of projects for selected resource (2). Projects with a backlog appear in red (see below).
Color-coded workload reservation blocks (3).
Workload assignments from the current plan are automatically displayed in the chart, along with availability information.
Note: Only the workload from projects within the current project database is displayed.
Cerri Project does not automatically re-plan workload that should have been completed. However, it will display the delayed workload as a reminder. For example, in the figure above, the project "Test TaskUniqueID from template" has a 5.5 days backlog.
The chart also shows the resource's working days and availability percentage (referred to as "Global Unavailabilities"). These values are defined in the Resource document. This recurring type of unavailability is only displayed within a limited time range. The Global Unavailabilities begin one month before the current date and extend to either the date of the latest future assignment or at least three months from the current date.
The time scale ( X-axis) is synchronized with the time scale of the Gantt Chart. The Y-axis is dynamic and changes according to the data displayed.
