Once the results are displayed, users can refine their search further by defining additional criteria. See the section "Advanced multi-criteria search" for more details.
Note: Keyword searches perform "full text" searches, meaning the engine will scan all data, including attached documents, for the specified keyword or phrase.
Advanced multi-criteria search
If a user clicks on the search icon without specifying a word or phrase, the search definition screen will open automatically. Once this screen appears, the contextual navigation menu on the left becomes search-specific.
Cerri Project allows users to save searches for future use. The contextual navigation menu enables users to either define new searches or use existing ones.
- Click on "New Search" in the contextual navigation menu to define the parameters for a new search.
- Click on "Saved searches" in the contextual navigation menu to view a list of pre-defined searches. Select the desired search to execute it.
The only difference between using a new search and a predefined search is that in a new search, all criteria fields are empty by default. Users must define the search criteria, and the results will match the specified combination of criteria.
