Searching in Cerri Project (v10.xx)

Searching in Cerri Project (v10.xx)

Users can perform two types of searches in Cerri Project; a simple key word search and an advanced multi-criteria criteria.

Users can enter keywords or phrases into the search box located at the top right-hand corner of the screen.

To execute a keyword search:
  1. Enter the keyword or phrase in the search field.
  2. Click on the search icon or hit "Enter" to initiate the search.
  3. The results will be displayed in the content area.

Once the results are displayed, users can refine their search further by defining additional criteria. See the section "Advanced multi-criteria search" for more details.

Note: Keyword searches perform "full text" searches, meaning the engine will scan all data, including attached documents, for the specified keyword or phrase.

If a user clicks on the search icon without specifying a word or phrase, the search definition screen will open automatically. Once this screen appears, the contextual navigation menu on the left becomes search-specific.

Cerri Project allows users to save searches for future use. The contextual navigation menu enables users to either define new searches or use existing ones.

  1. Click on "New Search" in the contextual navigation menu to define the parameters for a new search.
  2. Click on "Saved searches" in the contextual navigation menu to view a list of pre-defined searches. Select the desired search to execute it.
The only difference between using a new search and a predefined search is that in a new search, all criteria fields are empty by default. Users must define the search criteria, and the results will match the specified combination of criteria.
