Review Process

The timesheet submission process from the user who submits their timesheet for approval to the one that approves/declines the timesheets of the team members they are responsible for.

User sending timesheet for review:

  • From navigation menu go to: Timesheet > My timesheets

  • Click on the desired week’s timesheet to open it

  • Click Complete to submit your timesheet for review if your organisation has made timesheet submission a requirement for you (button only appears when the entire week of the actual timesheet has passed)

  • In the popup you can select which responsible you submit your timesheet too (your responsible from your human resource profile will be selected by default but you can modify this if needed) then click Submit to confirm

  • The status of your timesheet will automatically change from In Progress to In Review

  • When a timesheet gets approved the status in your timesheet list will automatically change to Approved and indicate the name of the person who approved it

  • When a timesheet gets declined the status in your timesheet list will automatically change to Declined and you will need to revise it and resubmit for approval

  • Click on the timesheet to open it then click on the history icon to open the Activity History popup where you can view all the steps in your timesheet submission and approval/decline with their corresponding date, time and responsible

User reviewing timesheet:

  • From navigation menu go to: Timesheet > Review

  • View a list of all timesheets submitted to you for approval with their resource name, the number of hours submitted and their status

  • Click on the a timesheet request with a To Review status to open it

  • Click Approve at the top right to approve the timesheet request or Decline to notify the resource submitting it that it needs amending/modifying

  • You can later decline an approved timesheet by clicking on the red Decline button at the top right

  • Click Back to review list to go back to timesheet approval list
