Resources administration involves creating and managing new resources (users), companies and groups, as well as updating them when necessary.
A Resource document is required for each user of the application. Resources can also be created without corresponding users, such as for generic resources (e.g., customer, project leader, developer) used in project templates. The resource document specifies details such as: resource type, license type, rates, and distribution profile. It is in the 'Resources' database that the match between purchased and utilized licenses is managed (see Licenses information).
For the on-premise version, the Group document defines company directory groups for document distribution and access rights. This is especially useful for orgnizations with extensive directories containing numerous groups.
Cerri Project operates as a multi-database system. All resources (resources, companies, and groups) are published from the 'Resources' database to other databases via the resource's defined destinations.
