Rename a Resource (v10.xx)

This function is used to manage situations where a resource's Lotus Notes username is changed for one reason or another.

Steps to rename a resource:
  1. Edit the concerned 'Resource' document.
  2. Click on the menu [Actions > Resource Rename].



  1. In the dialog box, input the required changes (see table below).


  1. Click the [OK] button.
  2. Publish the Resource to all destination database.

The resource's name will be updated across all destinations databases of the resource, including all old Time details.


New first name

If required, the new first name of the resource.

New

last name

If required, the new last name of the resource.

New

initial

If required, the new initial of the resource.

New

email address

If required, the new email address of the resource.

New

external ID

If required, the new external ID of the resource.

New

user name

The new username of the resource. The common name part is computed based on the other fields.


Note: This operation can take significant time, depending on the number of destination databases and the volume of documents in each database. The process scans each field in every document across all databases.
