Rates per Activity Type / Multi-Rate Management (v10.xx)

Rates can be managed based on "activity type." By default, this option is disabled, and rates are defined regardless of the activity type. If needed, the option can be enabled to vary rates according to activity types.

The option to enable multi-rate management is available in the General setup document of the Resources database. The corresponding field is labeled "Multi rate management."

If the multi-rate management option is enabled, the system selects rates based on the activity type associated with the task or assignment. If the option is disabled, the system uses the default rates regardless of activity type.

Note: The activity types are defined in the General setup document of the [Resources] module, or in the Keywords Lists setup document of each of the [Projects] modules.
