Project Health Overview

The Project Health Overview provides a clear and structured view of project status across multiple projects. It allows users to quickly assess performance, identify issues, and access detailed project information.

Access Rights

This overview is available only to users with the role of Project Leader.

The user will only see projects where they are assigned as:

  • Main Project Leader, or

  • Project Leader substitute

Projects outside of these responsibilities are not displayed in the overview.

Overview Screen

The overview screen is displayed when opening the function from the navigation. It contains summary indicators and a table listing all relevant projects.


Project Overview Table

The main section of the screen is a table listing all accessible projects.

Each row represents one project and includes the following information:

  • Project Name
    Displays the project name together with its planned start and end dates

  • Health Status
    Indicates the overall condition of the project (e.g. Good, Risky, Problematic, Neutral)

  • Labor Progress
    Shows completion percentage and a visual progress bar

  • Remaining workload
    Indicates whether the project is on schedule or delayed (Planned Work - Actual Work)

  • Budget Utilisation
    Displays the percentage of the budget already consumed

  • Blockers
    Shows the number of active blockers affecting the project (blockers are issues and risks)

Opening Project Details

To view more information about a project:

  1. Click on a project row in the table

  2. The system opens the project detail view


Project Detail View

The detail view provides a deeper analysis of the selected project.


At the top of the screen:

  • The project name is displayed (the icon to the right of the name is clickable and opens the project description)

  • A Back button allows you to return to the overview

Summary Widgets

The top section displays key project indicators:

  • Health status

  • Labor progress

  • Remaining workload

  • Budget utilisation

These provide a quick understanding of the project’s current situation.


Strategic Timeline

The Strategic Timeline visualises the project schedule and key milestones.

It includes:

  • Project duration from start to end date

  • A progress bar showing execution progress

  • Milestone markers positioned along the timeline

  • A Today indicator showing the current date

Milestone Status

Milestones are colour-coded:

  • Green – Completed

  • Amber – In progress

  • Red – Denied

If the current date is outside the project duration, the “Today” indicator is not displayed.

Tasks in Progress

This section lists active tasks.

Each entry shows:

  • Task name

  • Progress

  • Dates

  • Assigned resource

If available, tasks can be opened directly via a link.
If no data is available, a message is displayed.

Key Milestones

This section lists important milestones.


Each entry shows:

  • Milestone name

  • Target date

  • Status

Milestones are visually highlighted for quick identification.
If no data is available, a message is displayed.

Active Issues

This section displays current project issues.


Each issue includes:

  • Description

  • responsible

  • Since (date)

  • Action

This helps track responsibility and resolution progress.
If no issues exist, a message is displayed.

Risk Assessment

This section shows identified project risks.

Each risk includes:

  • Description

  • Impact

  • Workflow status

If no risks are recorded, a message is displayed.

How to Use

Review project status

  1. Open the Project Health Overview

  2. Review the summary indicators

  3. Scan the table to compare project performance

Identify critical projects

  1. check the Critical Status indicator

  2. look for projects marked as problematic

  3. review blockers and schedule variance

Analyse a project in detail

  1. Select a project from the table

  2. Review summary indicators

  3. Check the timeline and milestones

  4. Review tasks, issues, and risks

Return to overview

  • Click the Back button in the detail view

Notes

  • The overview is designed for quick portfolio visibility

  • The detail view provides structured project analysis

  • Sections with no data display a message for clarity
