Parallel Workflow (v8.xx)
The advantage of the parallel Workflow is the possibility that Project Leaders and Team Leaders can work parallel on the Team planner and Genius Planner in the review phase.
Project Leaders plan the resources in “Draft”.
When they finished, they set the status in “Review phase”.
The Team Leaders can approve / deny which the Project Leader can see and directly accept / deny too which again the Team Leaders can see and work with. So they work “parallel”.
This cause of course a problem of communication (as you remain in one status, no automatic notifications are possible). Cerri.com recommends managing the resource utilization in a group meeting once a week.
Please note that this tool can NOT avoid possible conflicts. It is to have a better understanding on the resource capacity and to workflow the process.
