Parallel Workflow (v8.xx)

  • The advantage of the parallel Workflow is the possibility that Project Leaders and Team Leaders can work parallel on the Team planner and Genius Planner in the review phase.

  • Project Leaders plan the resources in “Draft”.

  • When they finished, they set the status in “Review phase”.

  • The Team Leaders can approve / deny which the Project Leader can see and directly accept / deny too which again the Team Leaders can see and work with. So they work “parallel”.

  • This cause of course a problem of communication (as you remain in one status, no automatic notifications are possible). Cerri.com recommends managing the resource utilization in a group meeting once a week.

  • Please note that this tool can NOT avoid possible conflicts. It is to have a better understanding on the resource capacity and to workflow the process.
