Non-Project Related Availability, Personal Calendars (v10.xx)

Non-Project Related Availability, Personal Calendars (v10.xx)

An accurate forecasting of your resources should also include non-project related activities such as vacation, public holidays, and so forth. A public holiday calendar can be created and associated with specific locations, consequently impacting corresponding resources. Each resource can log personal calendar entries directly in Cerri Project whenever their time cannot be booked to work on projects (vacation, training, etc.).

Create a personal calendar entry

Users can specify when they will be unavailable for work on projects. These entry types require approval, most commonly from the resource’s manager.

To create a new unavailability:

  1. Navigate to the [Resources] tab.
  2. Select "New unavailability" from the contextual navigation menu on the left, under the "Calendar & unavailability" section.

In case of a non-worked day, change it to a working day?

If "Yes" is selected, the unavailability corresponds to a worked day. This allows a normally non-worked day to be marked as a worked day (e.g. working on week-ends). In this case, ensure that the unavailability percentage is accurate. To indicate that the full day will be worked, the unavailability percentage should be 0%.

Duration

This is mostly used for unavailability lasting less than a day.
