The KPI Tracking document is a special type of Generic document with a specific subform. It is generated to track performance and ensure progress toward achieving your KPI Target detail (KPI target at the project-level). There are three available options for generating KPI Tracking documents, configured in the General setup of the 'Portfolio' database via the 'Metric capture mode' field:
- On Deliverables: KPI tracking documents can be included in a Deliverable document by enabling this option.
- By Month: KPI tracking documents can be automatically generated as part of the Project Progress Report document when this option is enabled.
- Free: KPI tracking documents can be manually created as an 'Other document' of type 'KPI Tracking' when this option is enabled.
Saving a 'KPI Tracking' document (in any mode) generates KPI Tracking Detail documents. For each 'KPI Tracking Detail' document in the project, a corresponding KPI Target detail document is created.
Open the document and report current values.
