KPI Definition (v10.xx)


The KPI Definition can be created using the Create Context Menu.


KPI definitions are global for all projects, and it is possible to define more than one KPI.


Field

Use

KPI Name

Define a KPI name, which can also be organized into a hierarchy by separating levels with backslash '\'.

Example: Savings\Material direct savings. Here, Material Direct Savings is the KPI.

Free text. Mandatory.

Metric

Indicates the measure of performance used. Free text. Mandatory. The metric name is used to define KPI target (target in the project).

Metric type

Indicates the unit of measurement used, displayed in views. Possible values:

Currency: The metric is a currency.
Percentage: The metric is a percentage.
Other: Custom metric input. Mandatory.

Metric symbol

Visible only when 'Metric type' is set to 'Other'. Indicates the symbol associated with the metric.

Mandatory. Single selection field. The possible values come from the already defined 'KPI Definition'.

Target

The target to be reached for this KPI. (Not yet implemented.)

Status

Indicates whether the KPI is enabled or not. KPI targets can only be input for enabled KPIs.

Security

Defines access rights for KPI documents:

Standard: Access rights for KPI target and KPI tracking documents are managed like other project documents.

Restricted: Only project leaders and substitutes can access KPI target and KPI tracking documents.


Comments Rich text field that supports texts, pictures, attached files, and more.
