Highlighting rows in views

Highlighting rows and cells based on rules.

In flat views, it is possible to highlight cells and entire rows based on rules. To do this, select the ‘Add/Modify color rules’ option from the View icon menu.

A dialogue box will appear where you can define the rules.

In the ‘Column’ drop-down field, select which values (columns) you want to use for a rule.

Use ‘Condition’ to select the logic to be applied, e.g. greater than or less than, etc.

In the ‘Value’ field, specify the value to be compared.

In ‘Background color’, select the color to be used.

In ‘Text color’, specify the color for the text.

With ‘Apply to the whole row’, specify whether the background color should be applied to the entire row or only to the cell.

You can define additional rules with the plus symbol.

Press ‘Apply’ to apply the rules in the current view.

If you want to remove the color highlighting, you can do so using the ‘Color reset’ function in the icon view. This action removes all rules that have been defined for this view.
