To define a Cerri Project Chart:
- Navigate to the 'Setup' module of the portfolio databases.
- Click on the 'Charts' tab, then select the "Dashboard" navigation point.
- Click the «Create / New dashboard» button on the action menu bar.
- Fill in the Dashboard setup document that opens.
Note: Start by filling in the fields in the General section.
Title: This is the title and also the identification name if you want to integrate this dashboard into the navigation. Choose a meaningful name here, but avoid special characters if possible.
The next two parameters are not currently supported.
Type: This is the selection field where you can specify the layout of the frames in the dashboard. After making your selection, you should save the dashboard.
- Depending on the number of frames selected, sections for configuring each frame will now be displayed.
- In the right corner, you can see which frame in the dashboard is being referred to.
Database: Here you select from which database the element to be displayed should be selected and presented.
Type: With Type, you can choose whether it should be a view or a chart.
- The ‘Restrict to user’ parameter means that the dashboard is only available to the logged-in user.
Name: Here you select the chart or view to be displayed in this frame.
Title: If you specify a title, it will be displayed in the upper-left corner of the frame. The title should briefly characterise the content.
Fill in all frame sections accordingly and then save the dashboard again.
A ‘Preview’ button will then be available, which you can use to display the dashboard and check the content.
The dashboard could then look like the following example.
If you are satisfied with the layout, you can then add this dashboard to the navigation bar in the desired location as a new navigation point.
