Create a Project Request (v10.xx)
To create a new project request:
Navigate to the [Project requests] tab on the Module navigation menu. Select "All" from the contextual navigation menu.
From the CREATE menu select "Project request".
A new Project Request form will open.
Header | Project request | Enter the detailed name of the request. This field will be used as the project name when the idea is promoted. This is a required field. |
Responsible | This refers to the person submitting the request or currently in charge of the request according to the workflow. Please note that when the project request is created, Cerri Project automatically fills the Responsible field with the ID of the logged-in user, sets the version number to "1," and assigns the current date as the creation date.

Status | Indicates the current status of the request according to the workflow. The default status is set by the workflow, and the request will be assigned to the appropriate person accordingly. |
Action | The action button allows you to change the current status of the request according to the workflow.

Deadline | Indicates whether the request is on track according to the workflow. Green = OK (on track), Red = Not OK (delayed) |
Modified | Creation date or the date of the last modification to the document. |
Project Request Tab | This is where you define the goal and time frame of the project request.

Objective | Enter the objectives for the proposed project.
|
Planned start date | Enter the expected start date for the project, should the request be approved and promoted to a project. |
Planned end date | Enter the expected end date of the project, should the request be approved and promoted to a project. |
Rich text | Enter a detailed description of the project request.

Participants Tab | You can assign a project (request) manager as well as internal and external team members. You can allocate live or generic resources to the project request. |
Project leader | Select from the Resource list. |

Classification Tab | Use the [Classification] tab to categorize your request. Depending on your setup, you can access up to 14 single or multi-value classification fields. These classifications are essential for reporting purposes.
Only 4 fields are static in Cerri Project: Type, Customer, Priority, and "Other".

Type | Select the type of request. Available options are predefined in the setup.

Customer | Select the customer associated with the request (if applicable). |
Priority | Select the request’s priority. Available options are predefined in the setup.

Other | Additional classification fields are available depending on your setup.

Critical Success Factors Tab | This section allows you to define the importance and alignment of a request with your business goals, while documenting potential risks. |
Budget | This information comes from a separately created budget document.

ROI | Enter expected return on investment (ROI) for the project.
|
Workload | This information also comes from a separately created budget document.
|
Project Ranking | This is a computed field, calculated based on the weight and values of all the critical success factors listed below. For details, refer to "Define critical success factors" and "Project ranking calculation" in the setup section. The higher the value, the more significant the project is for your organization. |
Critical success factors (up to 10 fields) | Enter values according to the critical success factors defined by your administrator. Refer to "Define critical success factors" and "Project ranking calculation" in the setup section. |
Attachment Tab | Attach any necessary documents related to the project request. |
