Completing a Project (v10.xx)
It is not necessary to have completed all the tasks and deliverables to mark a project complete in Cerri Project. A project can be marked as complete at any stage of its progress.
There are two ways to mark a project as "Completed", and the result depends on the user's choice.
Changing the project status: The Project Leader can change the status in the project description, indicating the project şs complete when all tasks and deliverables are finished. Unfortunately, this does not always reflect reality.
To complete a project:
- Open the project description.
- Click "Edit" on the menu bar to switch to edit mode.
- Click "Actions" on the menu bar and select "Complete".
A dialog box will appear, asking you to confirm the completion of the project.
- The system will then review all project elements and will update them applying the following rules:
- The project status is set to "Completed".
- The project progress is updated to 100%.
- Deliverables with a status of "To deliver" are marked as "Canceled".
- Deliverables with a status of 'In progress' or "To approve" are updated to "Completed".
- Tasks where no time has been recorded are marked as "Canceled".
- Tasks with a status of "In progress" or "To control" or "Postponed" (with recorded time) are marked as "Completed".
- Other documents remain unchanged.
