Change Management in Cerri Project (v10.xx)
A change request can be defined as any request submitted to a change control board or designated decision making group. These requests can vary in impact, from minor adjustments to major changes that significantly alter the project. Typically, formal change requests involve substantial changes, while minor adjustments are made at the project management level.
Change requests can encompass various areas of a project, such as: expanding or reducing the scope of the project; modifying policies, procedures, plans, or processes; modifying expenditures; and updating or modifying schedules.
Change requests can be initiated internally or externally. One constant for most change request processes is that they are made formally through written proposals or request forms, and that changes are not implemented until they are formally approved. Cerri Project’s [Change Request] module supports diverse "Change request" processes, using its workflow engine to drive any required revisions and approvals.
