Creating tasks

Find out how to easily create tasks Task and Project Apps. There are different types of tasks you can create:

  • Project tasks that belong to a specific project.
  • Independent tasks that don’t belong to any project.
  • Assigned tasks that are assigned to other users or/and yourself.

How to create a task from the Task App

This is the only way to create an independent task (not belonging to a project)

  • Click on top row ‘+’ Task of your Task App home page under My tasks

  • Type in a task name and press enter; your task will have been created

  • You can then select it to open the task card and optionally choose a project it belongs to or assign it to a user

How to create a task from the Task App

  • Go to Projects on your Task App home page and select the project you want to add a task to

  • Click on top row ‘+’ Task and type in a task name and press enter

  • Your task will have been created and will automatically appear in Project App under the corresponding project.

  • You can then select it to open the task card and optionally change the project it belongs to or assign it to a user

How to create a task from the Project App

  • Select the project you want to add a task to from the Project App home page

  • Go to Tasks on the left menu

  • Click on top row ‘+’ Task and type in a task name and press enter

  • Your task will have been created within the project

  • You can then select it to open the task card and optionally assign it to a user
